3D product animation to showcase Chilly’s adventurous Travel Coffee Cups.
I created a 3D product animation to showcase Chilly’s Travel Coffee Cups using outdoor locations to highlight the theme of taking your coffee with you on every adventure. The animation shows off the range of colours that are available for the cups as well as the different types of outdoor experiences people can have with their Travel Cup by their side. I used Blender and after effects to render all the scenes and composite the animation together. The Travel Cup was modelled in Blender with a variety of outdoor locations using particle systems and fluid simulations to add detail and variety to each scene.
Creating the adventure
The animation aimed to have the flasks playfully interact with the environment, from rolling down a sandy dune to flowing downstream. Each scene has the flask as the focus showing the range of adventures the flasks can be taken on. Varies environments were modelled for each flask with the ending scene showing a falling coffee bean simulation showing the whole range of colours that are available.
