ALL FATHER brings the majestic presence of Norse gods to life in every sip of whisky.
All Father is a collaboration project between myself and Charlie Coakley, a talented graphic designer based in Liverpool. We wanted to combine our passions and create an animation that took his label design for All Father and combine it with my love for 3D animation. The animation takes the story of Odin and Iceland's iconic landscape to create an atmospheric product animation. Showcasing the bottle design and emphasising the use of distilled water used in the whisky sourced from Iceland's pristine glaciers.
Bringing the legend to life
The main goal of the animation was to create visuals that would stand out from the traditional whiskey advertisement. To achieve this, Icelandic environments were modelled combined with a smoky atmosphere. The bottle rotates showing the full design of the label and its attention to detail while the background elements are blurred to give the animation depth. To create a more meaningful story, a scene was created showing the whiskey coming to life inside a dark Icey cave with a splash simulation.
