Animation project showcasing MR RESIN’s new product kit for social and Amazon.
The Las Vegas-based company MR RESIN worked with me to create a short animation that showed off their new product kit and highlighted the clarity of their resin. The project was designed to be minimal so the new kit could take centre stage. Two animations were created for both their white and black kits so that they could be used on Amazon and social. The client wanted to showcase the clarity of their resin as well as how easy it is to put all the products of their kit into the box. The client created a storyboard for each scene that was modelled and rendered to create the final animation.
Premium craft resin
The animation shows the process of using the kit with the first scene being the pouring of the resin. The heat lamp is used to harden the resin to create the desired piece. The resin is very clear, as this is a main USP of the product this had to be communicated in the final animation. A scene was then created showing how all the individual parts of the kit fit nicely into the box with the final scene showing the full kit which includes the resin bottle, a mat, a heating lamp, a mixing cup and mixing stick.
